English Language LearnersWhat is SEI?
SEI stands for Sheltered English Immersion. SEI classes consist of students with English Language Development (ELD) levels 1-3. The goal is to make academic instruction more accessible to English Language Learners (ELLs). While teachers teach in english, they use a language-based, multi-sensory approach.
